Herm relies on visitors coming from Guernsey
Herm has officially reopened for the new tourist season after improvements were carried out over the winter.

The manager of Herm, Adrian Heyworth, co-ordinates investment in one aspect of the island every year.

About 600 trees have been planted and work done to improve water supplies and the island's Mermaid restaurant, which is under new management.

Daily sailings have started operating at 0800 and 1215 BST, with a return boat at 1630 BST.

Herm, with a population of 55, relies heavily on visitors coming to the island via Guernsey.
