Call to lower island voting age
A St Peter Port deputy says Guernsey should follow the Isle of Man's lead and cut the voting age from 18 to 16.

The Isle of Man gave 16 year olds the vote in May and at the first election since then, 62% of eligible teenagers turned out.

Jersey will debate the issue in February and Jean Pritchard says Guernsey is lagging behind and should take this issue seriously.

Guernsey deputy Mike O'Hara also supports the change.
