Priaulx beat his BMW team-mate by only one point
Newly-crowned World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx has received a hero's welcome from fans on his return to Guernsey.

More than 70 people greeted Priaulx, 31, on his arrival at the island's airport on Tuesday morning.

Priaulx retained his World Touring Car Championship with a win and a fifth place in the last two races of the season in Macau.

He beat his BMW team-mate Jorg Muller into second place by just one point.
