Man is injured in sea-front crash
A pedestrian injured in a road accident in Guernsey is now in a stable condition in hospital.

Mike Parsons, a retired airport terminal duty officer, was involved in a collision at the Half-way junction on the sea front on Friday night.

He was taken to the Princess Elizabeth hospital by ambulance.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was helping with inquiries, but appealed for witnesses of the accident which occurred at about 2200 BST.

The road was kept closed on Friday night, before the junction was re-opened on Saturday morning.
