Guernsey Post is currently reviewing its services
Postal rates have gone up for mail being sent within Guernsey and to other destinations.

Guernsey Post said the costs of postage stamps had risen following increased Royal Mail charges.

From Saturday, stamps for sending a letter within the Bailiwick have increased from 26p to 29p, and from 32p to 34p for the UK.

Other rates, including special delivery, international letters and parcels have also gone up.

Guernsey Post made a £1.5m profit before tax last year, reversing losses made over the previous two years.

The company is currently waiting for the outcome of a public consultation by the Office of Utility Regulation before it begins any further reviews of its services.
