A petition against the closure of rural post offices and post boxes in Guernsey is being given to the regulator.
It is thought more than 5,000 people have signed it since the campaign began last month.
The petition, started by Deputy Al Brouard, came after Guernsey Post said it needed to cut costs because of increased charges from the Royal Mail.
But Deputy Brouard said the branches are important to the community and thinks savings could be made instead.
