A wider choice of affordable flights could help build Guernsey's tourism industry, according to the head of the island's hospitality and tourism group.
Improving transport links is the aim of Marketing Guernsey
Chris Sharp said despite people being made aware of what Guernsey has to offer, it will not make a difference until it is easier to visit the island.
He believes flights need to be more affordable and should be available from a greater number of airports.
Businesses could then feel confident about investing in better facilities.
Last month Marketing Guernsey was set up to look at ways to increase visitor numbers to the Bailiwick by improving transport links.
The group is made up of States deputies and tourism industry members.
