Crufts award for island pet firm

A pet care business from Guernsey is one of the "top dogs" at Crufts.

The National Pet Sitter of the Year Award has been awarded to 24-7 Petcare, which is based in St Peter Port.

The company's founder, Jessica Valpied, travelled to the UK to receive the trophy on Saturday at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

The company, which walks, grooms and looks after pets around the clock, competed with 2,600 other UK businesses for the title.
