Rescues highlight danger of tides
Rescue services in Guernsey say two emergencies off the island's coast on Friday should serve to warn others about the dangers of the tides.

Ambulance and Rescue services were called to the aid of four boys stranded at Moulin Huet in the afternoon, after being cut off by the rising sea.

Later a couple, one of whom was unable to swim, found themselves in a similar situation near Fort Hommet.

All six were brought to safety by the inshore rescue boat.
