Anglers fish for a major prize

Guernsey is playing host to the final of a prestigious angling tournament.

Competitors in the Boat Fishing Monthly Small Boat Fishing Championship have been whittled down from more than 4,000 anglers to 10.

The organiser of the event says he likes holding it on the island because of the fishing and hospitality.

The winner can look forward to taking home a new boat fitted with a 60hp Suzuki outboard motor with a combined value of over £10,000.
