Charity surfers line up for Vazon
Surfing at Vazon
Vazon is a favourite spot for Guernsey surfers
The second BBC Children in Need Surf Challenge takes place over the weekend in Guernsey.

More than 50 Channel Islands surfers will battle it out for the honours at Vazon Beach.

Trophies will be awarded to winners in both the open and longboard divisions as well as an overall team prize.

Check in is at 0800 GMT on Saturday at the surfer's car park at Vazon. The first heats are scheduled to hit the water shortly after.

Last year's runner-up Guernsey's Johnny Wallbridge is the top seed at the charity event.

A special presentation evening will take place at Guernsey Yacht club on Saturday night.

All proceeds will go to Children in Need.
