Island to get second phone book
A new phone book is being launched in Guernsey next week.

Wave Telecom plans to deliver a copy of the new directory to every household and business in the island.

The move means that with Cable & Wireless's rival publication, Guernsey now has two separate telephone directories.

Wave Telecom's managing director Tim Ringsdore says the distribution of the books to islanders will start from next Monday.

Mr Ringsdore said: "We believe there is a need for another directory.

"This book gives extensive coverage of all numbers available in the island."
