Archive: First Red Square Victory Day Parade

For the first time in history, serving British troops will march past the Kremlin on Red Square as part of Russia's annual Victory Day parade.

Soviet leader Josef Stalin watched over the first of these parades on 24 June 1945, some six weeks after the Allies had secured victory over Nazi Germany.
