Iceland's Eyjafjallajoekull volcano is continuing to erupt, but the amount of ash it is emitting is reducing, according to Derrick Ryall of the Met Office.

Aircraft across much of Europe have been grounded as a result of the ash cloud, causing severe travel disruption.

This latest footage showed plumes of ash breaking through a layer of cloud above the volcano and dark grey ash erupting from the crater itself.
