Pope delivers 'Urbi et Orbi' Easter address

Pope Benedict XVI has delivered his traditional Easter address at the Vatican.

In his address to St Peter's Square, the pontiff did not refer directly to the child sex-abuse scandal that has engulfed the Church.

However, he did say humanity was suffering from a "profound crisis", which required a "spiritual and moral conversion".
