Russians hold anti-government protests across country

Protesters have taken to the streets in several Russian cities in what they have called "A Day of Anger" at the government.

Thousands of people turned out to support the rallies, organised by the Communist Party, the Solidarity movement and human rights groups.

Police in Moscow detained 70 people, saying the protests had not been authorised.

Fiona Werge reports.
