A controversial TV documentary in France shows people who think they are taking part in a game show, administering what they believe are near-lethal electric shocks to their rival contestants.

Producers of the spoof game show wanted to see if people would act against their own principles when a reality TV host asked them to do something.

David Sillito reports.
