Belgian passenger trains in head-on collision in Halle

Belgian Foreign Department spokesman Bart Ouvry says an investigation will try to find out the causes of a train crash which killed at least 18 people "as quickly as possible".

The passenger trains in Belgium collided head on near the capital, Brussels.

Railway officials said the two trains crashed during the morning rush hour at Halle, south-west of Brussels.
