Demjanjuk arrives at court in Munich

The trial of alleged Nazi war criminal John Demjanjuk has begun in Munich. The 89-year-old is thought to have arrived by ambulance.

He is accused of serving as a low-ranking guard at the Sobibor death camp, charged with being accessory to the murders of 27,900 people.

One survivor, Thomas Blatt, said he was not looking for revenge, only a conviction if Mr Demjanjuk were found guilty.
