The war crimes trial of the former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic is due to resume in the Hague, despite his vow to boycott it for a second day.

Mr Karadzic faces 11 charges including genocide and war crimes relating to the Bosnian war of the 1990s. He insists that he needs more time to prepare his defence.

The former British UN commander in Bosnia, Colonel Bob Stewart, told the BBC Karadzic is trying to delay the trial to gain publicity.
