Tens of thousands of people have joined a protest march in Madrid to oppose government plans to liberalise the country's abortion law.

The government is proposing allowing abortion on demand in the first fourteen weeks of pregnancy while 16-year-old girls would also be able to terminate pregnancies without parental consent.
