Winter has made a sudden and unwelcome early arrival in Poland, with snow, hail and rain causing disruption.
Rain across the country's western regions is set turn into sleet and snow in central districts, while eastern and southern provinces are already struggling to cope with the first snowfalls of the season.
In north-eastern Poland, snow and winds knocked out power for some 90,000 people. In Malbork, falling trees crushed several dozen cars and left one woman injured.
Traffic accidents were reported all over the country, while air traffic was also disrupted due to very high winds.
