EDF questioned over nuclear claim

France's government is demanding answers following a documentary that accused state energy supplier, EDF, of transporting spent nuclear fuel from French plants to Siberia for recycling and then storing it outside.

The investigation by Arte TV and the Liberation newspaper has been criticised by EDF's management - they insist that there is no case to answer.

Hugh Schofield reports from Paris.
