Sky-high dining experience

Parisians enjoy the best of French cuisine while seated 50 metres above the ground.

Diners with a sense of adventure are spending 924 euros (£807) each to eat on a suspended table perched above the city's Tuileries Gardens.

The stunt, which is taking place over five days, is in aid of the Federation of Rare Diseases.

Guests are locked into large, cushioned black chairs while they are lifted into place via a crane.

Similar experiences were organised in Berlin last year.
