Ferry repair delay hits services

The Condor 10 has been undergoing repairs in France

Some ferry services between the Channel Islands and France have been cancelled because of a repairs delay on a vessel.

The Condor 10 was due to be back in service between the islands and St Malo on Thursday, but this is now not expected to happen until Saturday.

Additional sailings have been arranged using Condor's other vessels.

The company said it had contacted all passengers affected by the disruptions to keep them aware of the changes and apologised for any inconvenience.

The ferry was down to running on just three of its four engines after a propeller shaft failed in May. It has been undergoing repairs in France.
