Austrian 'apathy' over EU elections

Europeans will soon vote in elections for the European Parliament, a body which legislates, amongst other things, on the air they breathe, the cars they drive, and the holidays they take.

Spanning 27 countries, the electorate is one of the world's most diverse.

The BBC's Europe correspondent has been on a marathon trip around the European Union in search of what makes Europe tick.

Jonny Dymond reports from the Austrian capital, Vienna.
