NHS to fund acupuncture for back pain

Complementary therapies, such as acupuncture and spinal manipulation, are to be recommended as part of NHS treatment for the first time.

The services should be made available to patients in England and Wales who suffer from lower back pain, says the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.
