WWI recovery operation begins

An operation to recover and identify the remains of hundreds of British and Australian soldiers killed in a WWI battle in northern France has begun.

Air Commodore Steve Martin of the Australian Defence Force spoke of the work to be done at the site in Fromelles, before Reverend Ray Jones, vicar at St George's Memorial Chapel in Ypres, blessed all those who would work on the project.
