The Georgian opposition's protest rally has started outside the Georgian parliament in the capital, Tbilisi.
They are calling on President Mikhail Saakashvili to stand down, accusing him of provoking the war with Russia last year and claiming there is "no democracy" in the country.
The president has called on Georgians to show unity and "work day and night... to finally liberate our Georgia".
