Call to return ancient sculpture

The head of the Supreme Council of Antiquities in Egypt has called for a 3,500 year old sculpture of Queen Nefertiti, which is kept in Berlin, to be returned to Cairo.

A newly discovered document dating back to 1924 suggests Germany kept quiet about the antiquity in order to make certain that it stayed in the country.

German museum directors deny the bust was smuggled from Egypt.

Tristana Moore reports.
