Conservationists are concerned about the prospect of Turkey's border with Armenia being reopened for the first time since 1993.

They fear Lake Kuyucuk will become a magnet for truckers driving past en route to the border, posing a threat to the many species of bird that use it as a vital migration stop.

Sarah Rainsford joined some of those gathered at the lake to hear their concerns and watch the wildlife.
