The Czech prime minister has lashed out at a photographer as he was questioned about calling a snap election.

Mirek Topolanek was on his way to party headquarters with his 15-month-old son in a pram.

Mr Topolanek was heard saying; "What have you done... why are you taking photos of him... why are you taking photos of him... how dare you?"

The prime minister has ruled out calling early elections despite recent losses to leftists in regional and Senate polls.
