Turkey coup trial sparks protests

More than 80 people have gone on trial in Turkey charged with plotting to overthrow the country's government.

They are accused of belonging to an ultra-nationalist network called Ergenekon.

Supporters of the suspects have been demonstrating outside a heavily-guarded prison near Istanbul, which is being used a temporary courthouse.
