The BBC is looking for people in Afghanistan and the former Soviet Union who were affected by the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the subsequent withdrawal.

Were you or your family in Afghanistan at the time of the invasion? What do your remember? Were you or a member of your family part of the Soviet military in Afghanistan? What are your experiences?
