New support for Venice landmark

Conservation work has begun on one of the best-known landmarks in Venice, the bell tower of St Mark's.

A metal belt is being fitted to the foundations to prevent cracks in the structure spreading, in a project expected to cost $9m. Mark Sanders reports from Venice.
