It is not clear why the minibus veered into oncoming traffic
Seven people have died in a motorway collision near Montpellier in southern France.

Police say a minibus crashed through the central reservation and into two oncoming cars on the A9 on Monday.

Five of the fatalities were in the minibus, which belonged to the Emmaus charity. The sixth person in the vehicle was seriously injured.

Two people died in one of the cars hit by the minibus. The other two young people in the car were seriously hurt.
