Hackers disrupt Serbian websites

Serbian and Kosovar Albanian internet sites appeared to be back to normal following several days of disruption.

Earlier in the week, hackers interfered with websites belonging to Serbia's Information Ministry and the Kosovapress news agency.

Serbia's ministry accused what it called "American-Albanian propagandists" of interfering with the content of its sites.

It said the hackers had put innumerable lies about past and current developments in Serbia and Kosovo.

The hackers also added a message to Serbia's official website thanking NATO for its bombing of Belgrade last year.
