It was meant to be the build up to an exciting semi-cup final but ended in the death of two Leeds United fans stabbed in violent clashes between rival supporters. Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight, had travelled to Istanbul to watch their team play the local side Galatasaray. At Leeds' home stadium, Elland Road, floral tributes were laid in their memory.
