Flickr is a photo-hosting website which made a name for itself by allowing users to see other users' photographs and by the use of tagging, which makes grouping of related photographs possible.

Other photo-sharing sites include Fotki, Picassa, Photobucket and Photobox.

Our correspondents have created an account in Facebook. There are other similar sites, including Hi5, MySpace, Orkut and Bebo.

Skype is one of a variety of programmes that allow communication via the internet, such as JahJah, Yahoo Messenger, y Lycos Phone.
