Six killed as Swedish buses crash
Sweden map
Two buses have crashed on an icy road in central Sweden, killing six people and seriously injuring nine.

The crash happened near Uppsala, about 70km (44 miles) north of Stockholm, during early-morning commuter traffic.

About 31 other passengers were injured in the crash, rescue spokesman Leif Hammarstedt told AP news agency.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, but roads in the area were slippery following heavy snowfall, Mr Hammarstedt said.
