Body of stowaway found at Gatwick Airport

An investigation has been launched in Britain after the body of a stowaway was found in the undercarriage of an aircraft at Gatwick Airport south of London.

The plane had arrived on Saturday night on a direct British Airways flight from Baku in Azerbaijan.

Police refused to give details of the identity of the stowaway or the precise cause of death.

A British Airways spokeswoman said they would be talking to the authorities in Baku.
