20 die in Spanish bus crash

At least 20 people have died in a bus accident near the northeastern Spanish town of Zaragoza.

Police say the bus carrying was carrying 52 old-age pensioners from Madrid to Gerona when it went off the road and overturned in a ditch.

Most of the 20 injured were taken to hospitals in the area, while others were treated at the site of the accident.

The cause of the accident is unknown but police have not have not ruled out that it was caused by heavy rain, which is hampering rescue work.
