Israel has offered to help rebuild the Turkish town of Golcuk, which was badly damaged by last week's earthquake.
A spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister's office said Israel could not take on the task by itself, but would concentrate on raising international funding so that Israeli firms could carry out the work.
Israel and Turkey have forged close links in recent years, particularly in the areas of tourism and defence.
An Israeli team has spent the past week in Golcuk, rescuing ten people from the rubble.
