The editor of an independent magazine in Bosnia has been released after being detained for several hours by officials of the court system.
The journalist, Senad Avdic, who is editor-in-chief of the weekly Slobodna Bosna, said afterwards he had been arrested in connection with a trial of local officials in the town of Sanski Most, who had accused him of libel.
The Bosnian Human Rights Committee had earlier condemned Mr Avdic's arrest as an attack on the freedom of the media.
