The Swiss lawyer, Carla del Ponte, who's been appointed to take over as Chief Prosecutor of the international war crimes tribunal, has said her priority will be to bring the Yugoslav President, Slobodan Milosevic, to justice.
Miss del Ponte told the French magazine, Paris Match, that she also hoped to bring to trial the two main Bosnian Serb leaders indicted for war crimes, Radovan Karadzic and General Ratko Mladic.
Miss del Ponte, the Swiss attorney-general, will take over as head of the tribunal in The Hague in September.
She also said she would use new legal procedures to confiscate any stolen money indicted Yugoslavs and Bosnians had deposited in Swiss banks.
