Fans of the mini, one of Britain's best loved cars, have begun celebrating its fortieth anniversary.
An international mini meeting is taking place in central England Warwickshire today as a foretaste to the main birthday celebrations next weekend, when all one hundred and thirty-three versions of the car will be put on display.
The Mini was originally invented as an answer to petrol rationing in the late 1950s.
