Tornado hits Selly Oak
Severe winds described as a tornado have damaged twenty one houses in a street in a suburb Selly Oak of Birmingham in the English Midlands.
In other parts of the region, emergency services said they were stretched to the limit after freak weather conditions caused flooding in a number of areas.
