Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has officially reopened the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam after a ten-month renovation.
The museum holds more than two hundred paintings and five hundred drawings by the Dutch post-Impressionist, Vincent Van Gogh, who died in 1891.
A special exhibition wing has been added at the cost of seventeen million dollars.
Its inaugural show focusses on the life of Van Gogh's brother, Theo, who was a Parisian art dealer.
