Turkey concert blast 'hurts 14'
A bomb placed under a police car at a pop concert in southern Turkey has hurt at least 14 people, officials say.

The explosion happened in the city of Mersin during a performance by well-known Turkish singer Candan Ercetin.

Local TV showed pictures of bloodied people being led to safety to the sound of ambulance sirens and distant music.

It is not yet known who was behind the blast. Turkey has a history of attacks by militants linked to Kurdish, Islamist and leftist causes.

Two police officers among the wounded were reportedly in a critical condition.

Bomb disposal experts destroyed another suspicious package at the concert venue, according to the office of the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
