The Russian presidential candidate who went missing last week says he was detained against his will.
Ivan Rybkin told a news conference in London that he would not return to Moscow until after the 14 March poll.
Mr Rybkin surfaced in the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Tuesday after disappearing for five days.
"After what happened in Kiev, I am convinced this election is a game with no rules. That is why I will continue my campaign from abroad," he said.
He appeared to have gone to Ukraine of his own accord, but has since suggested involvement by security services.
